Earlier this year, Realme launched their Realme GT Neo in China. Now, the company is gearing up to launch their Realme GT Neo 2 in China. The smartphone will launch as a successor to the GT Neo so, we can definitely expect to see some significant improvements. The device has recently been a rumour mill hit and has appeared in quite a few leaks these past couple of weeks.
The smartphone previously spotted online on a massive design render leaked by Digit.in in collaboration with noted tipster OnLeaks. Now, the device has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking website. The device has been listed on Geekbench with the model number RMX3370. Further, the listing also reveals that the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC. Moreover, the chipset is clocked at 2.42GHz and paired up with the Adreno 650 GPU.

In addition, the Geekbench listing has also revealed that the CPU and GPU will pair up with up to 12GB of RAM. When it comes to software, the smartphone will run on Android 11 OS with the Realme UI 2.0 custom skin on top. The smartphone has managed to score 4,678 points in the single-core tests. Further, it has managed to score 12,690 points in the multi-core tests of Geekbench.
Design Renders
Going by the official looking renders that Digit.in has recently leaked, we can expect to see a couple of things when it comes to the GT Neo 2 design. For starters, the upcoming GT series smartphone will come in a Blue colour option. Moreover, we will also get to see a bezel-less display design. Going by the renders, we can see a punch-hole camera design which houses the selfie shooter.

Moving to the back panel of the device, it showcases the Realme branding. Moreover, we can also see a triple rear camera setup. On the right side of the smartphone’s frame, we can see the power button which may double down as a fingerprint scanner. However, multiple reports suggest that the device will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. On the left side of the frame, we can see the volume rockers.
At the bottom, the smartphone houses a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer purposes. We can also see the speaker grille at the bottom. The top portion of the device is very clean with just a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Realme GT Neo 2 Specifications (Expected)
The Realme GT Neo 2 will most likely come with a 6.62-inch FullHD+ display. In addition, the display is expected to come with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. Now, this particular chipset comes with 5G connectivity.
Further, the octa-core chipset will pair up with at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. When it comes to software, the smartphone runs on Android 11 OS with the Realme UI 2.0 custom skin on top. The device is expected to pack a big 5000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

For photos and videos, the Realme GT Neo 2 is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup. The setup will include a 64-megapixel primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel secondary ultra-wide-angle sensor. Additionally, there will also be a 2-megapixel macro sensor in the setup. At the front, the device will sport a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. For now, this is all that is known when it comes to the Realme GT Neo 2 specs.
