The Realme GT series of devices have recently gone official in India. Now, the company seems to be gearing up to introduce another device under their GT series. This is the Realme GT Neo 2 smartphone. The smartphone will launch as a successor to the Realme GT Neo which went official in China previously. This device was launched in the Indian market as the Realme X7 Max. That will most likely not be the case with the GT Neo 2 as it has already made an apperance on the Indian BIS certification website.
Now, the company has taken to their official Weibo handle to officially confirm the launch of the device. Although no specific launch date has been revealed as of now, we can expect the Realme GT Neo 2 launch date in China to be set at September end. We can expect to see the Neo 2 making it to the Indian market later on this year itself.

Noted tipster Techno Ankit has taken to Twitter to reveal that the company has taken to their official Weibo account to officially confirm the GT Neo 2 launch in China. The GT Neo 2 will most likely launch with this exact same moniker as the company has revealed that no further X series devices will be launched in the country.
Realme GT Neo 2 Specifications (Leaked)
Going by the previous leaks and reports, the upcoming GT series device will come with a 6.62-inch full-HD+ display. In addition, the display will come with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. We will also see an in-display fingerprint scanner on the device alongside a punch-hole design.

On the processor front, the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. Further, the octa-core chipset will pair up with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Coming to the software, the smartphone will run on Android 11 with the Realme UI 2.0 custom skin on top.
For photos and videos, the upcoming GT series smartphone will feature a triple rear camera setup. The setup will include a 64-megapixel primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. We will also see an additional 2-megapixel sensor in the setup for macro shots. At the front, the handset will sport a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.

On the battery front, the device will pack a big 5000mAh battery. Additionally, the battery capacity will come with either 50W or 65W fast charging support. To recall, the vanilla GT Neo featured 50W fast charging support so we are expecting to see a similar or more charging speeds on the successor.
