  • Realme is launching the Realme GT series in India on August 18, 2021. The series will bring Realme GT and Realme GT Master Edition to India with this launch. However, a tipster reveals that the Master Edition will come in a special colour in the country. Digit India reveals an image that shows the smartphone in a new Suitcase Orange colour option. Although the device looks like the Explorer Edition looking at the rear camera system. According to the report, Realme will launch this variant in India to celebrate 100 million global sales. The company recently became the fastest ever smartphone maker to hit 100 million in sales in a record 37 months.

    The leaked image shows Realme GT MasterExplorer Edition in an Orange leather exterior with a pattern inspired by the Realme suitcase. However, this special variant will most likely be limited to India and Europe only. This image shows the phone has a suitcase-like design and a metal badge saying ‘100M FANS’. Apart from the new addition – everything else is similar to that of the Suitcase Ash variant that launched globally and will also launch in India.

    In terms of specifications, Realme GT Master Edition sports a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display that offers 120Hz resolution. In addition, it will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It is powering on the Snapdragon 778 processor with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The phone runs Android 11 out of the box with the Realme UI 2.0 interface. In the camera department, the phone gets a triple rear camera setup with a primary 64-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide unit, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, there’s a 32-megapixel selfie camera inside a hole-punch cutout. It houses a 4,300mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. However, the orange colour variant will be a new addition for sure in the colour options available.

    Meanwhile, the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition has a 6.55-inch S-AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz screen. The phone is powering on a Snapdragon 870 SoC and a 4,500mAh battery. Both models support 65W fast charging. On the other hand, the Explorer model has a 50-megapixel main camera, a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro snapper.
