Realme is all set to launch three new products at a global launch event today. Moreover, the launch event today will mark the debut of the flagship Realme GT 5G. The virtual event will be introducing new product categories alongside Realme Book and Realme Pad. In addition, Realme has teased the introduction of a laptop and a tablet on official channels via teasers and posters. To recall, the smartphone launched in China in March featuring top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.

The company’s global event will begin at 5.30 pm IST today. Additionally, it will be livestreamed for all users to watch virtually. In terms of pricing, the Realme GT 5G can start at EUR 400 (roughly Rs. 35,700) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. Whereas, it can up to EUR 450 (roughly Rs. 40,200) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model. It is expected to be available in Blue Glass and Yellow (Vegan Leather) color options. On the other hand, information on price and color for the laptop and the tablet is yet to come out. However, chances are we can find more about it today.

Realme GT 5G Specifications
This device runs on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. It features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. In addition, Realme GT 5G comes with a 100 percent DCI-P3 wide color gamut, 98 percent NTSC, and 91.7 percent screen-to-body ratio.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC. Moreover, it pairs with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

The Realme GT 5G sports a 64-MP Sony IMX682 primary camera, an 8-MP wide-angle camera with 119-degree field-of-view, and another macro lens with a 4cm range. There is a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. Additionally, the camera supports PureRaw mode, AI selfies, up to 4K 60fps recording, and more.
It packs a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

Connectivity features include 5G Dual-mode, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. Realme GT 5G also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res audio.
