An Indian launch of the Realme GT 2 Pro is expected later today. China received the new flagship smartphone in January, while Europe got its hands on it a month later in February. Indians may expect to see its Realme 9 4G phone alongside its GT 2 Pro.
A webcast of the Realme launch event will be available on the company’s YouTube account starting at 12:30 IST. In addition to the Realme GT 2 Pro and the Realme 9 4G, the business plans to introduce the Realme Smart TV Stick during the launch event.

Price of Realme GT2 Pro, Realme 9 4G in India (expected)
According to analysts, the price of the Realme GT 2 Pro in India is projected to be in line with the handset’s launch price in China in January. CNY 3,899 (approximately Rs. 46,400) was the starting price, while CNY 4,299 (about Rs. 51,200) was the maximum price for the 12GB + 256GB storage variant.
High-end Realme GT 2 Pro is also available for CNY 4,799 with 12GB RAM and an additional 512GB of storage (roughly Rs. 57,100). After launching in Europe in February, the smartphone was costing at EUR 749 (about Rs. 61,900). The Realme 9 4G is likely to cost around Rs. 15,000, according to previous reports.

Specifications of the Realme GT 2 Pro (expected)
Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 powers the Realme GT 2 Pro, introduced in China and Europe, and has an AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus screen protection. In addition, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC are together with up to 12GB of RAM in the device.
There is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a 2-megapixel macro shooter, all on the back of the smartphone. There is also a 32-megapixel front-facing camera on the Realme GT 2 Pro, which helps take selfies and make video chats.
The Realme GT 2 Pro has up to 512GB packed in as far as storage goes. Additionally, there are USB Type-C and Type-C ports and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.2 on the device. An in-display fingerprint sensor is there. It has a 5,000mAh battery with 65W SuperDart Charge in the Realme GT 2 Pro. According to the manufacturer, faster charging is now possible.

Specification for the Realme 9 4G (expected)
Realme still has no official word on what exactly will be in the Realme 9 4G. However, it has been revealed that the device will be equipped with the 108-megapixel ‘ProLight’ camera. In addition, the camera on the phone will use a Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor, which is to be rather good.
Preliminary rumours suggested that the phone would have an AMOLED display, but the company has since confirmed that the Realme 9 4G would have an IPS LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate.

Older rumours predict that the phone would come in two different memory configurations: 6GB with 128GB of storage and 8GB with 128GB of storage. In addition, the Realme 9 4G is likely to be out with a 5,000mAh battery and a charging speed of 33W, according to information found on certifications websites.
