Realme is all set to launch their Realme 8s 5G and Realme 8i in India on September 9, 2021. Now, ahead of the official launch of the two smartphones, Realme India has taken to their Twitter handle to reveal quite a few things about the 8s model. We get to know about the colour options, back panel design and more of the 8s 5G via these posts.

Further, both the Realme 8s 5G and 8i have appeared across multiple reports these past couple of weeks. The smartphones have been much anticipated as during the launch event, the Realme 9 series is also expected to be announced. The company has confirmed that there will indeed a “big announcement”. However, it is not currently known what this announcement will be about. Going by the various reports, this announcement will most likely be about the brand’s Realme 9 series of smartphones.
Realme 8s 5G Specifications, Design, Colour Options and More Revealed
Coming to the Realme 8s 5G specs, the smartphone has been confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. Moreover, this will be the very first smartphone to carry this 5G mid-ranger chipset. Now, this particular chipset will be based on a 6nm architecture. So, going by that, this mid-ranger 5G processor will be quite power-efficient in nature.

Now, Madhav Sheth has also teased the back panel design of the Realme 8s 5G. Going by that, we can also see that the smartphone will come with a quad rear camera setup. Moreover, we can also see the presence of an LED flash in the setup. The smartphone has been revealed to come in a Blue and White/Silver kind of a colour option.
Further, the company has also revealed that the Realme 8s 5G will come with a Dynamic RAM Expansion feature. Now, this is basically the virtual RAM expansion feature that is becoming a popular trend in the smartphone industry today. We saw the iQOO Z3 5G use this feature and since then, a lot of devices have started launching with this feature.

This particular feature will allow users to convert a certain portion of their internal storage into Virtual RAM. This will bring a major performance improvement to the device. Whether for gaming or an overall seamless experience, this feature definitely will come in handy. Realme India also answered a couple of questions related to this the Dynamic RAM Expansion feature in the Realme 8s 5G. Going by that, we know that once this feature is applied, the device needs to be restarted for it to read the new Virtual RAM.
