Realme has confirmed launching the Realme 12 Plus 5G in India soon. The company has also created a teaser page for the smartphone on its website, which promises 12 upgrades that are “unseen in smartphone industry history”.

Realme 12+ 5G Teased To Launch In India With 12 Upgrades
Realme has announced it will launch a new smartphone in India soon called the Realme 12+ 5G, offering premium features in the mid-range segment. The company claims it will offer “outstanding photography performance”.

Furthermore, it has collaborated with an Oscar-winning cinematographer to create three camera filters for the phone inspired by his films. The Realme 12+ 5G will also have a luxury watch design similar to the Realme 12 and Realme 12 Pro Plus.
In addition, the phone is expected to have a vegan leather design with a triple camera setup on the back. Furthermore, the website also teases the presence of a Sony sensor with OIS for the first time in this segment.

According to tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the phone will likely launch on March 6, 2024, at 12 PM IST in India alongside the Realme 12. It is likely to have a price tag of less than Rs.20,000 in the country.
Expected Specifications Of The Phone
Based on leaks, the Realme 12+ 5G will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the phone will have a flat display with a punch-hole cutout.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset will likely power the phone paired with up to 12GB RAM. It will run on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 out of the box and have up to 256GB storage.
The Realme 12+ 5G will feature a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary camera with OIS. In addition, there will be an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. You will also get a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The Realme 12+ 5G will pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W SUPERVOOC charging. It will likely weigh around 190 grams and will be 7.9mm thick.
