PUBG New State was all set to receive its VERY FIRST major update on December 9, 2021. It is December 14 today and the update has still not arrived. The big update was delayed quite a number of times in these past couple of days. Now, Krafton has rolled out a notice which is a good opportunity for players to get their hands on some free in-game rewards. Yes, we are getting compensation rewards.

Krafton took to their official Twitter handle to post a “Compensation Announcement”. This notice basically unveiled that players the game’s maintenance has been delayed once again. According to PUBG New State developers, the constant delay is because of a delay in App Review process. This time, players will be receiving compensation reward of sorts. So, what are players going to get?
PUBG New State Compensation Rewards
PUBG New State will be offering players Chicken Medals every day till the maintenance issue is resolved. Moreover, it does not end there. The amount of Chicken Medals will keep on increasing by the day. For today, as of December 14, players have received two Chicken Medals.

Now, if you are new to PUBG New State and do not know what Chicken Medals are, they are the in-game currency. While PUBG New State uses NC as its in-game currency like BGMI uses UC, Chicken Medals are much less expensive. Basically, these are what ‘C’ is in Call of Duty Mobile. Upon playing ranked matches and doing other objective, you get Chicken Medals. This may bring you to the question, what are Chicken Medals used for?
Chicken Medals are basically used to open crates in PUBG New State. These crates provide a bunch of different in-game items. Different crates offer different rewards and Chicken Medals are required to get these crates. For now, no particular date has been announced but, we will get to hear of one soon.
