If you loved the Playstation VR, then the upcoming PlayStation VR 2 (PSVR2) is coming to the PS5 sometime next year. According to Sony, the PSVR2 will “enable the ultimate entertainment experience with dramatic leaps in performance and interactivity”.
The announcement comes in the form of a blog post on the company’s official blog. The Japanese tech giant has said that the new version will improve in all possible ways. Some of the improvised features include a greater Field of View, better tracking and support for even higher resolutions.

However, the company isn’t making the PSVR2 wireless, not yet. Compared to the original Playstation VR, the PSVR2 will use only a single connector. This will enable the user to lessen the wire clutter.
The VR Headset will also receive a minor upgrade, with it being able to make use of the DualSense Wireless Controller. Having said that, Sony also has plans to launch a dedicated Vr controller. Commenting on the headset, Sony says it still has a long way to go.
The upcoming PSVR2 will offer a better user experience by making use of the latest hardware the Playstation 5 has to offer.

PSVR2 Specs, Launch Date and Pricing
In an interview with the popular magazine GQ, Jim Ryan from Sony said that the PSVR2 will offer content different from the typical formats. Moreover, he also denied talking about the specs of the device.
The company has also indicated that the Playstation 5 may offer a different experience compared to the Playstation 4. The PSVR2 may have different types of sensors which can detect if the headset if worn properly or not.

The company currently has no launch date in mind, but sources suggest that it might be launched sometime later this time.
