POCO X5 5G Specifications (Expected)
As per the previous leaks, the handset was to be rebranded as the Redmi Note 12 5G. However, the information was denied by the company executives. But the recent leaks by Kacper show that the upcoming handset may have quite a lot in common with Redmi Note 12 5G except for one minute difference. The POCO X5 5G will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, similar to the POCO X4 Pro 5G. In contrast, the Redmi Note 12 5G will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC.
However, the tipster claims that despite having a different processor, both handsets have a unified ROM. The Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition will launch as the POCO X5 Pro, according to the tipster, and will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor. Moreover, the speed edition handset offers an AMOLED display and a 108MP camera setup. This will make the X5 Pro the company’s first smartphone with a 108MP camera in the Indian market.
