Poco India announces a warranty extension scheme for select users. As the country continues to struggle with the second wave, the brand makes this step. Moreover, the company also claims they will not conduct any new launches in May 2021. The company confirms the pause on new launches. However, this warranty extension is only for smartphones whose warrant ends around these 2 months ie., May/June 2021.

Poco India Warranty Extension Scheme Details
This means if your warranty is ending in these months, Poco India will extend it to July/August. On the other hand, users do not have to do anything to warrant it – the company has already “extended the warranty”. Whereas, Asus also canceled its launch event happening on May 12th – considering the growing COVID-19 crisis.

Several cities in the country have gone into lockdown currently. Due to which certain Poco India customers who are facing issues with their devices are unable to get them fixed. However, the extended warranty is not for all Poco customers.

Furthermore, apart from Poco India – Realme India also paused launches in the country due to the new wave of Covid-19. Earlier this month, Realme postponed its India event due to the pandemic. The company was expected to launch a range of new devices, including Realme 7 Max. Poco India is making these efforts to give relief to the users who have many serious things to worry about than their phones.
