The Poco F3 GT is now receiving an MIUI update that includes the July 2021 Android security patch. The software update arrives just a week after the Poco phone was launched in India. The Poco F3 GT is a rebranded Redmi K40 Gaming Edition that was launched in China. To entice mobile gamers, it includes features such as separate game triggers and a 120Hz display. The Poco F3 GT also has high-fidelity stereo speakers and 5G connectivity.

July Android Security Patch Update
The Poco F3 GT update, first spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma, brings software version MIUI 12.5.4.0.RKJINXM. It has an update size of 116MB. Although there are no new features in this update, it does deliver the July 2021 Android security patch to the Poco F3 GT, which fixes a number of known vulnerabilities. The phone was launched with the June security patch installed. On your Poco F3 GT, navigate to Settings > About phone > MIUI version to check for the most recent MIUI update.

Poco F3 GT Price in India
The Poco F3 GT was launched in India with a starting price of Rs. 26,999 for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option. It is also available in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants for Rs. 28,999 and Rs. 30,999, respectively.
Specifications
The Poco F3 GT features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Turbo AMOLED 10-bit display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage.
