Poco F3 GT Launch Date Confirmed as July 23

Poco has been planning on launching its Poco F3 GT flagship for quite some time now. Finally, after a long wait and numerous teasers/leaks, the company reveals its official launch date. The launch will happen on July 23rd at 12 pm IST. It is just a day after the launch of the OnePlus Nord 2. Moreover, the interesting point here is both of these phones are under the 30,000 price segment. In addition, the company in its teaser also shows the Call of Duty Mobile theme in the background pointing that it will have a special focus on gaming.

Earlier, this week, POCO India Country Director, Anuj Sharma, confirmed some of the device’s specs and pricing details in an interview. In the interview, he revealed that the Poco F3 GT will have a price tag of less than Rs 30,000 although he didn’t provide any specific figure. Whereas, the high-end variant of the smartphone will be under Rs 35,000. Let’s take a look at the Poco F3 GT price in India, specs, and other details.

POCO F3 GT Specifications (Expected)

When it comes to specifications, the Poco F3 GT should be similar to the Redmi K40 Enhanced Edition. Taking things back a bit, the Redmi K40 comes with a big 6.67-inch OLED display. Additionally, the display comes with a 120Hz fast refresh rate alongside a 480Hz touch sampling rate. Besides, we can also find HDR10+ certification along with a rear punch-hole display design.

On the processor front, the Poco F3 GT will most likely come with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. This octa-core flagship chipset will be coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Additionally, the internal storage is expandable via a microSD card slot. On the software front, the smartphone will most likely run on Android 11 with the MIUI 12 custom skin on top.

For photos and videos, the Poco F3 GT will come with a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor. Additionally, the setup also houses a 2-megapixel macro sensor as well. On the front, the handset will come with a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.

The Poco F3 GT will pack a big 5,065mAh battery along with 67W fast charging support. The device will also come with 5G connectivity along with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth v5.1. We will also find a USB Type-C port for charging the device.
