The Poco F3 GT India launch timelines have finally been confirmed to be by Q3 of 2021. Moreover, the smartphone is expected to carry the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. In other news, the smartphone has received its BIS certification as well. This definitely does hint at an imminent launch of the device in the country.
Now, 91Mobiles in collaboration with noted tipster Yogesh has revealed that the Poco F3 GT will launch sometime in early August. However, the exact launch date of the upcoming flagship is currently under wraps. 91Mobiles has been told that the smartphone will be announced in the first ten days of August.

This definitely means that the launch is right around the corner and not even a month away. The company might start teasing the smartphone anytime soon on their social media channels. Also, the Poco F3 GT will most likely launch as a rebrand of the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition.
Poco F3 GT Specifications (Expected)
When it comes to specifications, the Poco F3 GT should be similar to the Redmi K40 Enhanced Edition. Taking things back a bit, the Redmi K40 comes with a big 6.67-inch OLED display. Additionally, the display comes with a 120Hz fast refresh rate alongside a 480Hz touch sampling rate. Besides, we can also find HDR10+ certification along with a rear punch-hole display design.

On the processor front, the Poco F3 GT will most likely come with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. This octa-core flagship chipset will be coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Additionally, the internal storage is expandable via a microSD card slot. On the software front, the smartphone will most likely run on Android 11 with the MIUI 12 custom skin on top.
For photos and videos, the smartphone will come with a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor. Additionally, the setup also houses a 2-megapixel macro sensor as well. On the front, the handset will come with a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
The Poco F3 GT will pack a big 5,065mAh battery along with 67W fast charging support. The device will also come with 5G connectivity along with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth v5.1. We will also find a USB Type-C port for charging the device.

Price In India
Although nothing has been revealed about the price of the Poco F3 GT, we can make an assumption based on the price of Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition. The Redmi K40 Enhanced Edition price is set at RMB 1,999. This converts to roughly Rs. 23,000 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant.

On the other hand, the 8GB/128GB price is set at RMB 2,199. This converts to roughly Rs. 25,300 in the Indian currency. Lastly, the 12GB/256GB variant comes with a price tag of RMB 2,699. Now, this converts to approximately Rs. 31,000. We can expect to see the Poco F3 GT price in India be set similarly.
