Poco F3 GT to Receive Android 12-based MIUI 13 Update

The POCO F3 GT is getting the MIUI 13 update based on Android 12. Poco’s handset was in India last year. The Poco F3 GT debuted with the MIUI 12.5 skin, based on Android 11. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite users in India received the same MIUI 13 update earlier this month. The latest skin update is the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite second MIUI upgrade and its first Android version upgrade.

Poco announced the update via a tweet, and users can find it on the Poco Community webpage. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite got the same update a few days ago. With the new update, the smartphone received a collection of amazing wallpapers and some layout improvements to the notification panel.

The Poco F3 GT’s 6.67-inch Turbo AMOLED 10-bit display supports HDR 10+ and has a refresh rate of 120Hz. In addition, it has a touch sampling rate of 480Hz. DC dimming is also supported. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The smartphone has three cameras: a 64-megapixel primary camera (f/1.65 aperture), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor (119-degree field-of-view), and a 2-megapixel macro lens.

The primary sensor is ED (extra-low dispersion) glass, commonly used in DSLR lenses to improve image clarity. The camera module comes with a tactical RGB glow and a flash module that looks like a lightning bolt. In the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The smartphone comes with a 5,065mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. The phone can charge halfway in just 15 minutes, according to the company. It is dust and water-resistant to IP53 standards.

It has three microphones for improved voice quality while gaming. Wi-Fi gaming antenna, X-Shockers with precise haptic feedback and vibration, a GT switch, and Maglev triggers are all supported.

There is a large vapour chamber and an aerospace-grade white graphene heat sink for improved heat dissipation. The phone also supports Hyper Engine 3.0, which allows for ray tracing. There are also dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The smartphone has a fingerprint sensor on the side for security.
