Oppo Reno 6 Series Launch Confirmed as July 14th; To Be Available via Flipkart in India

Oppo is going to launch the Oppo Reno 6 series in India soon, the company confirms. Rumors of the series launching in India have surfaced quite a lot of time this month. Although the leaks hinted only one or two variants from the lineup will come to Indian markets. Now, Flipkart has confirmed its availability as coming soon in India. The launch is happening on July 14th, as confirmed by the company.

It looks like the OPPO Reno 6 and Reno 6 Pro models will be launching in the country. However, the Reno6 Pro+ is not coming to Indian markets. To recall, all of these variants in the lineup launched in China a month back. Let us look at what it has to offer in India:

OPPO Reno 6 and Reno 6 Pro 5G Launch Date Confirmed as July 14th

According to this poster, the series is almost ready to launch in India soon. The series will come in India via Flipkart. Moreover, based on rumors, we are expecting the launch to happen in July. We expect to learn about the official launch date soon enough.

What do we expect in terms of specs and price?

OPPO Reno 6 features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The device is equipped with a 64MP primary camera, 8MP wide-angle lens, and 2MP macro lens on the back, and a 32MP selfie camera at the front. Furthermore, the Reno 6 packs a 4,300mAh battery and supports 65W fast charging.

Whereas, OPPO Reno 6 Pro sports a bigger 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is powering on the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The rear camera system is similar to the vanilla Reno 6. Although it does come with an extra 2MP depth sensor. This model also gets a 32MP front-facing camera. OPPO Reno 6 Pro packs a 4,500mAh battery and supports 65W fast charging. Both devices run on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.3 on top.

Meanwhile, in terms of pricing, Reno 6 price in China starts at CNY 2,799 (approx Rs 31,800). Whereas, the Reno 6 Pro starts from CNY 3,499 (approx Rs 39,800). The OPPO Reno 6 series price in India should be along similar lines.
