Oppo launched the Reno 6 series smartphones last month in China. The Reno 6 series consists of three handsets – Reno6 5G, Reno6 Pro 5G, and Reno6 Pro+ 5G. However, now the Oppo Reno 6 Pro global variant has appeared on the FCC certification website. The appearance on the FCC listing hints that at an imminent launch. This piece of information comes from Abhishek Yadav who posted some images along with key details of the device.

Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G Global Variant Surfaces on FCC Certification
In this particular image, it shows off the back panel of the device with details of the device. On the other hand, FCC certification reveals that the global variant of the handset will have model number CPH2247. It will pack a dual-cell 4,400mAh rated (4,500mAh typical) capacity battery with 65W fast charging support.

Considering its China variant, Oppo Reno 6 Pro features a 6.55-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with 2400×1080 pixel resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits peak brightness. The display also features an optical in-display fingerprint sensor, a punch-hole notch on the top left corner, and is protected under a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Under the hood, Oppo Reno 6 Pro can power on an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. It packs up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The Reno6 series devices boot ColorOS 11.3 based on Android 11.

Moving to the cameras, it is equipped with a 64MP quad-rear camera setup with an LED flash. In addition, Oppo Reno 6 Pro comes along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP portrait lens, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, the handset gets a 32MP selfie shooter. Reno6 Pro is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. Connectivity options include Dual Sim, 5G, 4G, 2.4/5GHz WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/GLONASS.
