We have come across a listing that lists an Oppo PEHT00 on Geekbench. The most interesting part about it shows that it comes with a Snapdragon 480 chipset. To recall, this chipset launch was a surprise to everyone, as it is the first-ever Snapdragon 4-series chipset with 5G. Moreover, it also hinted that it will make its debuts in an Oppo, HMD Global, or Vivo smartphone.

In addition, it also manages to get a single-core score of 522 and a multi-core score of 1,513. If previous listings hold true, any listing with a codename ‘PE’ is almost always a Chinese variant.
Oppo PEHT00 Leaked Specs
According to the listing, it mentions a ‘holi’ motherboard which is the codename for the Snapdragon 480 SoC. However, this is not the first tie we are seeing this codename on an Oppo smartphone.

Earlier, Mukul Sharma also tipped about a smartphone with the same codename on a 3C database. The listing only mentions that it is 5G-enabled and supports fast charging at 18W. There appears to be another variant in the works too, called the OPPO PEHM00.

However, there is only very little information on the device. So, it is a mystery as to what it will offer to its users. On the other hand, it will surely be an entry-level smartphone as Snapdragon 4xx chips are tailor-made for such devices.
If rumors are true, this listing can be part of Oppo’s A-series. Anyway, we will come to know more about the smartphone in the coming days. This is coming because the chipset is to make its debut in Q1 2021.
