After OnePlus and Realme like giants have already been in the TV business, Oppo is all set to enter the market via its Oppo K9 Smart TV Series. The company is all set to enter the Indian market if sources are to be trusted. The K9 TV family is already part of selling in China with its variety going up to 75-inch in size with 60Hz LCD panels with support HDR10+ and HLG.

Oppo K9 Smart TV series specs
According to the latest tipped information, the Oppo Smart TV series will soon hit the market, likely will enter in the first quarter of 2022. The brand-new series will be powered by MediaTek SoCs and run on the company’s ColorOS TV 2.0 software. K9-Smart TV will feature TV panels ranging from 43-inches to 65-inches.

If we talk about the prices, Oppo Smart TV K9 65-inch will come with a price tag of CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 45,600). The 55-inch model will arrive at CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 32,000), and the 43-inch model at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 22,800). The prices in India may differ from the ones in China, which we’ll get to know about after the launch.
Interestingly, the massive 75-inch screen is a 10-bit panel and supports up to 1.07 billion colours. And on top of it, the Oppo K9 Smart TV line-up runs on Android with the ColorOS TV 2.0 operating system. The ColorOS TV 2.0 OS will feature Xiaomi’s PatchWall UI, also known for its rich content discovery engine and advanced features.
If we talk about the underlying hardware, the Oppo K9 Smart TV range runs on a quad-core MediaTek processor with 2GB RAM and 8/16GB storage options. These TVs will come with all required ports and the latest connectivity standards such as Wi-Fi 6, e-ARC, HDMI 2.1, etc.
