OPPO is planning on launching another 5G smartphone in their already expanding 5G portfolio. The company started off with the OPPO Reno 5 Pro 5G earlier this year. Now, we are seeing the OPPO K9 Pro 5G as the smartphone has now surfaced online.
Noted tipster Techno Ankit took to Twitter to reveal that the device has been spotted on a China Telecom website listing. Further, this particular listing of the device has revealed the key specifications and price of the device in China. The device will launch as a successor to the OPPO K9 5G which went official in China on May 6, 2021.
In addition, the China Telecom listing of the OPPO K9 Pro 5G also reveals the launch date of the device. Now, with all the information that the latest leak has to offer, here is a quick rundown of the price, availability and specifications of the upcoming OPPO 5G smartphone.
OPPO K9 Pro 5G Price and Availability
According to the China Telecom listing, the OPPO K9 Pro 5G price in China will start at CNY 2,399 for the 8GB + 128GB storage variant. Now, this converts to roughly Rs. 27,300. Furthermore, the 8GB/256GB variant will come with a price tag of CNY 2,599 which converts to roughly Rs. 29,600. Lastly, the 12GB/256GB variant will cost CNY 2,899 which is around Rs.33,000.

In addition, the listing also reveals that the device will come in the Glacier Overture, Obsidian Warrior, and Neon Silver Sea colour options. When it comes to the availability of the device, it will officially launch on September 24, 2021, as per the listing. However, the India launch details of the smartphone are currently under wraps.
Oppo K9 Pro 5G Specifications
When it comes to the Oppo K9 Pro specs, it will come with a 6.43-inch full-HD+ display. Additionally, the display will come with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. On the software front, the smartphone will run on Android 11 OS.
Under the hood, the OPPO K9 Pro 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. The octa-core flagship chipset will pair up with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, as per the listing.

For photos and videos, the smartphone may arrive with a triple rear camera setup. The setup will include a 64-megapixel primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. In addition, we will also be seeing a 2-megapixel sensor in the setup. On the front, the device will sport a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
The OPPO K9 Pro 5G may pack a 4,500mAh battery. The smartphone will come with dual-SIM slots with 5G connectivity as well. There will also be a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer purposes. The device will also retain the 3.5mm headphone jack, according to the listing. When it comes to the dimension of the device, it will measure 158.7×73.5×8.5mm and weigh 180 grams.
