OPPO’s first foldable flagship smartphone OPPO Find N has launched finally. The new foldable has launched on the second day of OPPO Inno Day 2021. After months and weeks of its constant occurring rumours, the phone is finally out. With its’ premium features, this flagship foldable offers a premium experience. Oppo has focused majorly on its hinge design as well as the crease that falls on a foldable display.
Although Oppo’s first foldable phone looks uncannily similar to Samsung’s. The company is very aware of the fact. But its’ similarity is only in how users will be able to fold and unfold the device. Oppo claims that its’ OPPO Find N is above par with rival devices. Basically, it includes a durable folding mechanism that will not lead to a crease showing up in the middle of the inner screen. Now, this is something that has been a concern among foldable.

In terms of pricing, the Oppo Find N costs RMB 7,699 (roughly Rs. 92,000) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variants, and RMB 8,999 (approx. Rs. 1.07 lakh) for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. Pre-bookings for the smartphone are now open in China, and users can get their hands on it from next week, December 23, 2021, onwards.
OPPO Find N Specifications
The foldable phone has a 7.1-inch inner screen and a 5.49-inch outer screen. The inner screen uses an 8.4:9 landscape ratio. In addition, it comes with thin bezels around it make sure you get a full-screen experience. When you unfold the screen, it automatically brings the landscape version of the home screen, while all apps will also open in the landscape.

Furthermore, Oppo Find N is comparatively smaller than the Galaxy Z Fold 3. It also has a Flexion hinge whose crease is 80 per cent less noticeable as compared to other devices, the company said citing TUV. The hinge is also said to withstand 200,000 folds. The power button also doubles as a fingerprint sensor on the foldable phone.
Under the hood, Oppo Find N powers on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. Moreover, it comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. It packs a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging support. The Find N also supports 15W AirVOOC wireless charging, which is also compatible with Qi chargers. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the Find N.
In terms of optics, Oppo Find N features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 766 primary sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens. It also has two 32-megapixel selfie cameras on both the inner and outer displays. You also get a dual speaker system and Dolby Atmos support on the Find N.

In terms of software, Oppo Find N features a FlexForn Mode that offers flexibility for the phone to adapt to different usage scenarios. The foldable phone has also been optimised to work with native apps like music, notes, and camera, Oppo said in the release. It has also added gestures for a split-screen or a floating window for compatible apps.
