  • OPPO A78 5G has been Officially launched in India as the latest 5G smartphone offering from the brand. The smartphone has a waterdrop notch for the front camera, a fingerprint sensor on the side for security, two circular rings on the back for dual camera sensors and an LED flash, and slightly rounded corners with a boxy style. Furthermore, the phone ships with the Android 13 operating system, which includes features like as FlexDrop, three-finger translation with Google Lens, anti-peeping, and photo-information protection.

    The OPPO A78 5G features a 6.56-inch HD+ display, a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery, 33W fast charging capabilities, and 128GB storage that is extendable through microSD card.

    The OPPO A78 will be available in India from January 16, 2023, for Rs 18,999 for the single 8GB + 128GB variant through retail stores, OPPO E-Store, and Amazon. Customers may get a 10 per cent cashback and six months of interest-free EMI from ICICI, SBI, Bank of Baroda, IDFC, One Card, and AU Finance bank.

    The OPPO A78 5G features a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD with a refresh rate of 90Hz. There is an 89.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, a resolution of 1612 X 720 pixels, a brightness of 600nits, and a waterdrop notch for the front camera. Moreover, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage. The software will have the ColorOS custom skin, which is based on Android 13.

    Additionally, the smartphone will have a large large 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The phone measures 7.9mm in thickness and weighs 188 grams.
