Oppo has launched their A16s model as an addition to the Oppo A-series of smartphones. The affordable Oppo A16s smartphones sports a waterdrop-style display notch and comes in two colour options. The deviuce is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC and features a triple rear camera setup. The camera is packed with a bunch of features like AI Beautification, Dazzling Mode and Bokeh filters. Other important features in the device include overnight charging protection. It has launched as a slightly toned down version of the Oppo A16 which was launched in Indonesia last month.

Oppo A16s Price and Availability
The Oppo A16s price has been set at EUR 149 which is roughly Rs. 13,000 in the Indian market. This is the price set for the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant. The smartphone is available for purchase in the Crystal Black and Pearl Blue colour options. When it comes to the availability of the device, it is only available for purchase in the Netherlands for now. For now, the India launch date of the device is under wraps.
Oppo A16s Specifications
The Oppo A16s features a big 6.52-inch HD+ display which comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio. In addition, the display comes with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. On the software front, the device runs on Android 11 with the ColorOS 11.1 custom skin on top.

On the processor front, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. Additionally, the octa-core chipset pairs up with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. Further, the internal storage on the device is expandable via a microSD card slot.
Fir photos and videos, the Oppo A16s comes with a triple rear camera setup. Further, the setup includes a 13-megapixel selfie sensor along with two 2-megapixel sensors for B&W and macro shots, respectively. At the front, the device comes with an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.

The A16s packs a big 5000mAh battery and measures 163.8×75.6×8.4mm. The smartphone weighs 190 grams and comes with 4G LTE and dual-band Wi-Fi. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C for charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Lastly, the smartphone also sports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. .
