OnePlus Nord SE That Never Saw The Light Of The Day

OnePlus, last year, returned to its affordable, mid-range segment with the launch of its Nord series. It launched variants of the series all over the world with N100 and N10 5G. However, after these launched, the rumors of the company working on an OnePlus Nord SE started surfacing online. Although it looks like that this edition will not be seeing the light of the day. The post on Recalled series of photos gives us our first look at the now-canceled OnePlus Nord SE. Reality to Idea’s products features a distinct paper-like art style with pitch-black outlines and highlights. It ends up making them look like sketches that came to life. Moreover, inside the box, there is a box wrapped in a special black and white sleeve along with a tote bag and a case. Additionally, a QR code leads the user to download a stylized wallpaper on the back of the case package. The device itself includes standard OnePlus Nord SE in Gray Ash color and comes in 12GB/256GB configuration.

However, exactly what happened to lead to its cancellation? It looks like the product was clearly ready to go. It looks like there is no information or some genuine idea on what can be the answer to it. OnePlus never mentioned just why it canceled the OnePlus Nord SE so close to launch. However, it can also make way for the OnePlus 9 series launch around the time. Furthermore, the whole point of the OnePlus Nord was to act as an affordable 5G-ready smartphone. Launching an overpriced version of it would come off as a tad redundant.
