OnePlus Nord CE 5G Design Similar To Original Nord

OnePlus is continuing to tease as OnePlus Nord CE 5G launch gets closer. As of now, we have got some key highlights of the device thanks to the brand’s own teasing marketing. In addition, multiple leaks are surfacing online along with interviews of executives sharing some details on the same. In a recent development, OnePlus has officially revealed the design of the Nord CE with TechRadar. Additionally, it also confirms some of the previously leaked specifications and features.

OnePlus Nord CE 5G Design

According to the image above, it confirms that the upcoming Nord CE will come in Blue Void color. If we glance at it clearly, we can see some similarities to that of its previous original sibling Nord. Although it looks like it has some major differences. Earlier, in an interview, the company shared the design of the device’s rear panel. OnePlus Nord CE 5G has a triple-camera setup on the back instead of four sensors on the original Nord.

Furthermore, this new addition to the Nord series is a Core Edition ‘CE’. Meaning, the company is stripping back a few specs from the original Nord for this phone. They will be offering it at a more affordable price. However, considering the leaks from tipster this device will cost around Rs 22,999 in India.

“You see mid-range phones on the market with very exaggerated specifications. We actively avoided some of those features and kept the things we felt would really make a difference to the daily smartphone experience. Especially like fast charging (Warp Charge 30T Plus), a 90Hz AMOLED display, or 5G for OnePlus Nord CE 5G”.

On the other hand, OnePlus has confirmed that the phone has a 64MP triple-camera setup on the back. They have also confirmed its sleek design and more teasers are yet to come. Whereas, other leaks suggest the phone has an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the device will feature a 16MP front camera.

OnePlus Nord CE 5G can also feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and a hole-punch cutout. According to leaks, it has an in-display fingerprint scanner as well. The Nord CE 5G will pack a 4,500 battery with 30W fast-charging support. It will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC with up to 12GB of RAM. 

Meanwhile, another leak suggests customers can avail of a Rs 1,000 discount when making the purchase using the HDFC Bank cards. This means that the device can be purchased for Rs 21,999 with the card offer. The OnePlus Nord CE 5G pre-orders will start in the country on June 11th, and users pre-ordering the device will be eligible to get goodies worth Rs. 2,699.
