OnePlus affordable 40-inch TV (100 cm) smart television launched under its Y-series on Flipkart today. A preview on the OnePlus TV 40Y1’s e-commerce site showed most of the smart TV’s core features and information ahead of its launch. The OnePlus TV 40Y1 shares many of the same features as the 43-inch model, but with a smaller screen and a lower price.
OnePlus Affordable 40-inch TV: Price and availability
The OnePlus TV 40Y1 is available for Rs 21,999, the OnePlus TV 43Y1 is available for Rs 26,999, and the OnePlus TV 32Y1 is available for Rs 15,999. From May 26, all of them will be available on the e-commerce platform Flipkart. In terms of discounts, HDFC card users can get a 10% discount on the TV. You will get a one-year product warranty and an additional one-year warranty on the panel.

OnePlus TV 40Y1: Specs and features
The OnePlus TV 40Y1 operates on Android TV 9.0 OS along with a series of extra features and tweaks on top. It includes support for all of the big OTT platforms, and also the availability of the Google Play Store for further app downloads and Google Assistant.
Native file managers, content calendars, picture galleries, and other features are available on the OnePlus TV 40Y1. The TV, like the other two models, has a similar remote control that can be used with any mobile through the OnePlus Connect app which is available on both Android and iOS. This makes it easier to navigate the interface, type in search fields, take screenshots, and more. It is capable to connect up to 5 smartphones.
More than 100% of the Rec. 709 coverage and 93 percent of the DCI-P3 color space are covered as well. It also supports HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG, as well as the full range of high dynamic range certifications. The latest OnePlus TV also features Dolby Audio for an immersive experience on the audio side.
This model, similar to the prior OnePlus TV Y series, includes two 10W speakers. A near bezel-less facia with a 95 percent screen-to-body ratio is one of the other design features. Noise reduction, MEMC, anti-aliasing, dynamic contrast, super-resolution, distortion reduction, and color space mapping are all used in the Gamma Engine.
