Just recently, a mysterious smartphone from OnePlus surfaced online. It is bearing the model number IV2201 and has received the BIS certification in India. Tipster Yogesh Brar also suggested that the codename for the device is OnePlus Ivan. Meanwhile, while the BIS listing suggests an imminent launch, but it does not reveal an exact timeline. Interestingly, this is the first time this smartphone evidence has surfaced online. Curiosity as to which device it could be is also increasing. But according to leakster Yogesh Brar, it could be a Nord-branded phone.

Leaked Specifications for OnePlus Ivan
OnePlus Nord 2 CE may feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, as per Yogesh. Although the moniker is not confirmed, leaks are hinting towards the same. In terms of processor, it might power on MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G processor with anywhere between 6GB to 12GB of RAM. We can also expect 128GB and 256GB storage options as well.
Moreover, OnePlus Ivan will ship with Android 12-based OxygenOS 12. However, please remember that the upcoming unified OS from OnePlus and OPPO is expected to debut on the OnePlus 10 series.

In terms of camera, the OnePlus Ivan phone may feature a 64-megapixel primary OmniVision rear camera, accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. At the front, the phone gets a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Lastly, the handset packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
From the leaks, it is possible that Nord 2 CE will not offer an alert slider similar to the OnePlus Nord CE. OnePlus Ivan will feature a 3.5mm audio jack and a stereo speaker setup. The frame is made out of plastic, with Gorilla Glass protecting the display and rear panel. We can also expect a thick chin bezel and a corner punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

Price Range for OnePlus Ivan
OnePlus Ivan (or Nord 2 CE) price in India will be between R.s 24,000 to Rs. 28,000, according to Yogesh. The phone is expecting to launch in early 2022, possibly by the end of January or mid-February. This makes sense considering the phone has already received the BIS certification.
