OnePlus launches its new smartphone offerings in March every year. One of these phones can be an affordable lite variant device. The new flagship series can launch next year. Earlier reports pointed towards a third model in the making. On the other hand, a fresh report suggests that the third model may be called OnePlus 9 Lite.

The latest leak also suggests that the phone will feature similar specifications to the OnePlus 8T. This report also sheds some light on the OnePlus 9 Lite specifications and price. The rumored phone will power on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC compared to 888 SoC. Whereas, the OnePlus 9 and Pro are expected to come with the latest flagship SoC from Qualcomm.

This also suggests that the third ‘OnePlus 9 Lite’ variant can price more aggressively than the other two models in the OnePlus 9series. Moreover, the company can look to shift its strategy from a two-model series. If this new report is true, OnePlus is looking to branch out even further and introduce more options for consumers.

On the other hand, it also suggests that the OnePlus 9 Lite may be priced at around $600 (roughly Rs. 44,100). Whereas OnePlus 9 may be in the range of $700 to $800 (Rs. 51,500 to Rs. 58,800), and the premium OnePlus 9 Pro is likely to price around $150 to $200 (roughly Rs. 11,000 to Rs. 14,700).
However, there is no confirmation from OnePlus of a third model as of yet, and we recommend you take this rumor with a pinch of salt.
