OnePlus is reportedly working towards launching their OnePlus 10 series of devices next year. The series will include the OnePlus 10 and OnePlus 10 Pro models. The OnePlus 10 Pro has been making quite a few rounds of the internet recently. Now, we know when to expect the launch of the flagship device.
Noted tipster Max Jambor has taken to Twitter to reveal the OnePlus 10 Pro release date in China and Global markets. In addition, previous leaks have also contributed towards knowing about the possible key specifications of the device. Without any further ado, here are all the details.

OnePlus 10 Pro Release Date (Expected)
According to Max Jambor, the flagship device will launch in China during January and February of 2022. Previously, it was believed that the January-February timeline would be for all the markets. However, now we know as per Jambor’s tweet that it shall be limited to the Chinese marjket.

In addition, Jambor’s tweet also tips the global launch date for the device. According to the tweet, the OnePlus 10 Pro release date in the global markets is set in between March and April of 2022. To recall, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series of smartphones are expected to launch at similar timelines. This could suggest that the upcoming next-in-line flagship series by OnePlus could be looking to compete with the Galaxy S22 smartphones.
OnePlus 10 Pro Specs (Leaked)
Going by rumours and reports, there are indeed a couple of things we know about the device. For starters, the China variant of the smartphone will run on ColorOS custom skin on top. However, the global variant of the device will run on the new OPPO-OnePlus merger custom skin.
Talking about its display, the device will reportedly feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. We can also expect to see a fast refresh rate panel on the device. Under the hood, the device will most likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC. This chipset is expected to release during the Qualcomm Tech Summit soon.
On the battery front, the OnePlus 10 Pro is expected to pack a big 5000mAh battery. Additionally, this rated battery capacity will reportedly pair up with 125W fast charging support. We also got to see leaked renders of the device recently, courtesy of @OnLeaks and @ZoutonUS collaborating with each other on this. These revealed a square-shaped module at the back housing a triple rear camera setup. It is expected that the setup will include a 5x optical zoom periscope sensor.

As per leaks and rumours, the device will also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and obviously come with 5G connectivity. The vanilla model is expected to come with similar specs on certain fronts. However, there will be certain toned-down specs to draw a line of difference from the Pro model.
