Nothing Phone (2a) Design And Specs Leak Before Launch

Nothing plans to launch its new affordable version, the Nothing Phone 2(a). This phone will likely debut next year at the company’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) event.

The Phone 2(a) will be a cheaper version of its flagship, the Nothing Phone (2). A leak has revealed the specs and design of the Phone (2a) before its launch.

According to a report by SmartPrix, the Nothing Phone (2a) specs reveal it will have a dual camera setup in a horizontal orientation. The phone will have a 50-megapixel Samsung S5KGN9 sensor as the primary sensor and another 50-megapixel Samsung S5KJN1 as the ultrawide angle lens.

This is the same sensor found in the Nothing Phone (1) and (2) as well as the Motorola G84. Furthermore, the phone will have a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 front-facing camera for taking selfies, the same as the OnePlus 10 Pro.

Furthermore, the Nothing Phone (2a) specs leak mentions it will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2412×1084 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. China’s BOE and Visionox are likely to manufacture the display, according to tipster Kamila.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset will power the phone paired with up to 8GB of RAM. It will run on Nothing OS 2.5 and have 128GB of internal storage.

Expected Pricing and Availability

Moreover, the Phone (2a) specs will retain the Glyph interface with three lights on the back and will have a price tag of around $400 (around Rs.33,200). It will likely launch on February 27, 2024, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The device will be available in Black and White, similar to other Nothing Phones. Furthermore, the Phone (2a) wallpapers have also leaked, and it will have seven wallpapers named Ruxe, Nexul, Azunim White, Orbique, Rubrane Black, Ambra and Virmar.

According to the report, it will have wider availability than Nothing Phone (2), with the launch in four different regions: India, Japan, Europe and globally.
