Carl Pei’s Nothing is all set to reveal their very first product, the Nothing Ear 1. The launch date for the product is scheduled for July 27. This is a very special launch for the company as it is their very first product. Moreover, this will practically determine the future of the company which was started by Pei last year.
The Nothing Ear 1 will launch as a competitor against Apple’s AirPods and Samsung’s Galaxy Buds. The TWS earphones will launch at 2PM BST which is 6:30PM IST in other words. Carl Pei left OnePlus last year to start Nothing and this is their very first product.
Moreover, the Nothing Ear 1 earbuds are one of the most anticipated launches of this year. Not only are they very significant as Carl Pei is behind this, it is the very first product of the brand. This is definitely huge for the brand and most likely, will launch as a unique earbud going by Pei’s history of strategizing OnePlus launches.

What makes the earbuds unique is the fact that it is a combination of transparency and an iconic form. This is unlike anything that the world has witness before which makes it all the more mysterious. The transparent design definitely seems to be the unique selling point of the earbuds.
The Carl Pei owned brand collaborated with Stockholm-based Teenage Engineering earlier this year to design the Nothing Ear 1. Furthermore, the brand also acquired the Android maker Andy Rubin owned smartphone company, Essential.
Nothing Ear 1: What Else?
Previously, the company had announced the launch date of the Nothing Ear 1 to be sometime in June. However, the new launch date definitely suggests otherwise as there has probably been some delay. Moreover, Pei took to Twitter to reveal that, “We’re near the finish line and there are a few things left to finalize.”

The Nothing Ear 1 TWS earbuds are all set to launch in a lot of markets which includes India as well. Additionally, the brand also announced its partnership with Flipkart recently as well. Moreover, the company also hired Samsung Executive Manu Sharma as its India Market Chief. So, all of this does hint at the India launch being imminent alongside the global launch.
However, the pricing and key specification details of the Nothing Ear 1 are currently under wraps. These details will most likely be revealed via teasers ahead of the launch.
