Nokia XR20 Design Leaked After Teaser of Possible July 27 Launch

Nokia’s X-series launched back in April with two variants. Now, it looks like Nokia Mobile India is all set to launch a new smartphone in India, on July 22. Moreover, SAR values of both these handsets recently surfaced on the Nokia India website hinting towards an imminent launch. Now, Nokia India teased a new smartphone launch for the country, Nokia XR20 on July 27.

Just as the teaser surfaced, speculations that a phone with the model number TA-1362 has surfaced online could be Nokia XR20. Moreover, now, a leak has surfaced online claiming it is a render of the phone on the Nokia Community forum. Let us take a look at the render:

Nokia XR20 Purported Design Renders

According to the render, Nokia XR20 seems to have a square camera cutout on the back. In addition, it may house at least dual cameras and an LED flash. There is also a Nokia logo. At the bottom of the phone, it has a USB Type-C port, speaker grille, primary microphone, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the left side, it has a power button with a textured finish. Moreover, from the image, it looks like that the phone will have a strong build quality. As they claimed in their teaser, it probably could be the strongest Nokia phone.

Nokia XR20: Expected Specifications

Nokia X20 features a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 2400×1080 pixel resolution, and 450 nits peak brightness. Under-the-hood, it sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor that is built on an 8nm fabrication process. However, the graphics duties are handled by an integrated Adreno 619 GPU. The handset boots vanilla Android 11 similar to all other Nokia smartphones. We can expect much of these same specs to feature on the Nokia XR20.

Meanwhile, the handset offers a 64MP quad-rear camera set up inside a circular module. The primary high-resolution sensor on the X20 gets accompanied by a 5MP ultra-wide-angle, a 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro lens. The Nokia XR20 or Nokia X20 offers a 32MP shooter for selfies, and video calls inside a punch-hole notch.

Taking this into consideration, we believe that the upcoming Nokia XR20 surfaced on various certification websites. The phone will be fuelled by a 4,630mAh battery. The handset also has a Type-C charging port, 3.5mm audio jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The handset measures 168.94×79.7×9.1mm weighs 220grams and also features IP52 splash-resistant rating.
