HMD Global Licensee Nokia seems to be working towards the official launch of their Nokia G50 5G. The smartphone has been one of the most popular models in the world of leaks and reports. Further, the device has already bagged quite a few certifications. Previously, the smartphone has made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking website. In addition, the handset has also recently bagged the TENAA certification website.

Now, noted tipster Abhishek Yadav has taken to Twitter to reveal that the smartphone has now bagged its NBTC certification. The smartphone has been listed on the NBTC certification with the model number TA-1361. Now, this falls in line with the previous certification websites that the smartphone has made an appearance in. Here is a quick rundown of what to expect from the upcoming Nokia G50 5G specs.
Nokia G50 5G: What To Expect?
Starting off with the display of the Nokia G50 5G, it will feature a large 6.8-inch IPS LCD display. However, the display will be an HD+ one so we won’t be seeing an FHD+ display on this particular model. This hints at the device launching as a budget friendly device. When it comes to software, the smartphone will run on Android 11 OS right out of the box.

On the processor front, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G SoC. Now, this is the most budget 5G chipset out there and will be used to bring 5G connectivity to the G50 5G. This again hints at the device falling under the budget smartphone segment. Moving to cameras, the device will come with a 48-megapixel driven rear camera setup. At the front, the handset will sport an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.

Further, the upcoming budget Nokia 5G phone will pack a 4,850mAh battery. When it comes to dimensions, the device measures 8.85mm in thickness and weighs 220 grams. Lastly, the smartphone will also come with a modern side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
