HMD Global, the company that currently owns Nokia, has launched a new smartphone name the Nokia 1.4.
After the success of the Nokia 1.3 released in March last year, the Nokia 1.4 offers some significant upgrades over its predecessor.
The Nokia 1.3 was an affordable option for those who are looking to buy their first smartphone ever. With Android Go pre-installed, the phone offers dual rear cameras compared to the single-camera found on the Nokia 1.3.
The company has also upgraded Nokia 1.4 in terms of battery, using a 4,000 mAh battery. The Nokia 1.3 has a 3,000 mAh battery.
Nokia 1.4 will be available in the global market starting today. Having said that, there is no announcement regarding the pricing and availability in the Indian market.
The Nokia 1.3 came with a price tag of approximately Rs 8,300 for the base variant which comes with 1GB RAM and 16GB Internal Storage.

Nokia 1.4 Specifications:
The phone offers significant upgrades over its predecessor. IT supports Dual SIM and runs on Android 10 (Go edition ) out of the box. The company has said that they will update the operating system to Android 11 Go Edition.
Running on the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 SoC, the phone has a 6.51-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. It comes with 3GB of RAM and a dual rear camera.
The rear camera setup comprises an 8 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP macro camera. The selfie camera is a normal 5 MP camera. Compared to last year’s 16 GB internal storage, the Nokia 1.4 comes with 64GB storage. You can expand the same using the MicroSD card slot.
