The’react with emoji’ feature was long awaited on WhatsApp, as it was previously available on Facebook and Instagram. The functionality is especially useful because many individuals around the world still work from home and use the app for everyday communication – whether work or personal.
In a press release, Keith Broni, Editor-in-Chief of Emojipedia, stated, “With over 3,600 potential new emoji alternatives, we’re thrilled to link up with WhatsApp today and leverage our expertise to address the biggest topics in emoji understanding.”
Meanwhile, WhatsApp is expecting to work on a new feature. The new feature will allow users to sync their chat history across various devices. The companion mode function, according to reports, will allow users to attach a secondary mobile device to their WhatsApp account without having active Internet access. However, the specifics of its availability remain unknown.
