Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 series phones have begun to arrive in India and other markets in recent months. Xiaomi appears to be prepping a new Redmi Note phone. Redmi CEO Lu Weibing teased the same on Weibo. The poster image features a large mention of the word ‘Note,’ a question mark, and a timeline for 2022. The top executive hinted that the upcoming series will outperform previous generations.

Weibo post does not explicitly mention the ‘Xiaomi Redmi Note 12‘. It is possible that this is what the top executive has been discussing. We believe the upcoming Note lineup will have multiple models. They will be priced at different segments to cater to a wider audience. Smartphone is similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 series.
The top executive stated in a Weibo post that the Redmi brand has decided to launch two Note series phones per year beginning with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 series, which debuted in H1 2021. This was follows in China by the Note 11 series in H2 2021.
The CEO reiterated that the company intends to continue with the same strategy, launching two smartphones of Redmi Note devices per year in the future. This means that the 12 series will get a performance boost this year, followed by the Note 13 series, which will be an all-arounder, launching in H2 2022.

Redmi CEO Lu responded to fans near the end of the post, saying that the company had received feedback from fans and users that the Redmi naming scheme had become confusing. As a result, the brand is currently accepting customer suggestions for the name of its next series. Current responses include the Redmi Note 12, Xiaomi 11T, Xiaomi 12X.
New Redmi Note Series Mobile Phone Specifications (Expected)
The device is to feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1200nits. The MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor comes with a Mali G68 GPU, LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS2.2 storage in the Note 11 Pro series smartphones.
The smartphone may feature a triple-rear camera arrangement with a 108-megapixel main sensor. Both smartphones have an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor in addition to the high-resolution sensor. These gadgets rely on a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
The Note 11 Pro is backed by a 5160mAh battery with 67W rapid charging capabilities. The Note 11 Pro+, on the other hand, has a 4500mAh battery but supports 120W rapid charging. On the side of both phones is a fingerprint scanner as well as a 3.5mm audio connector.
