Chen Jin, who is in charge of the mobile business at Lenovo China, posted a teaser of the upcoming Moto Razr 2023 phone on Weibo. In the description, the executive said that the phone will have a bigger screen on the outside and a faster refresh rate. But it’s not clear if both the inside and outside screens will have a faster update rate or just the outside screen.
To back up the teaser, reliable tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) tweeted that the new Moto Razr 2023 will come out with a 3.5-inch external screen. This is a lot bigger than the 2.7-inch screen on its predecessor and also bigger than the 3.4-inch screen on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphone, according to the tipster. It is also bigger than the Oppo Find N2 Flip, which just came out.
According to the Moto Razr 2023 leaks Motorola will call the foldable clamshell phone “Razr+” when it comes out. While another story said that the same phone might come out in Canada and a few other places as the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra.
Notably, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra was recently seen with the model number XT2321-1 on the BIS certification page, which suggests that it will soon be available in India. Another phone that got BIS approval had the model number XT2303-2, which suggests that it is the Motorola Edge 40.
