  • The Motorola ThinkPhone images have leaked online that show the design, build, and key specifications of the future device. The handset was previously tipped to launch as the Moto Edge 40 or Lenovo ThinkPhone. However, the latest leak clarifies that the Motorola ThinkPhone will be the upcoming smartphone. The images by TechOutlook sheds light on the device’s specifications. Along with its display, build materials, camera setup, charging, and connectivity options.

    It is to be noted that tipster Evan Blass leaked similar handset images in October as the Lenovo ThinkPhone. However, recent leaks reveal that the smartphone will come with an aramid fibre inlay aluminium frame that measures 158.76mmx74.38mmx8.26mm. It will also feature a 6.6-inch OLED display and a 144 Hz refresh rate.

    Specifications (Expected)

    The upcoming smartphone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor and 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Additionally, it also supports 512GB of storage capacity and HDR content. The phone comes with a triple rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel primary camera. Along with a 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for high-quality pictures and videos. A 32-megapixel front camera is also provided for selfies and video chats.

    The image also shows features that may allow integration with Lenovo’s ThinkPad laptops. However, the information is unclear in the images and fails to clarify the upcoming device’s features. According to a previous tip, the smartphone was to launch as Moto Edge 40 Fusion and  Lenovo ThinkPhone in some markets. Thus it is not sure whether the images shared by the TechOutlook correspond to the same device. It is also to note that there has been no official announcement from the company regarding the launch of ThinkPhone.
