Motorola has finally removed the lid on the Motorola X30 Pro, the world’s first phone with a 200-megapixel camera, after months of leaks and rumours. On August 11, 2022, Motorola introduced the Motorola X30 Pro with the Motorola Moto Razr 2022. Along with a 200-megapixel camera sensor, the Moto X30 Pro includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and 125W rapid charging. The phone is now available in China.

Motorola X30 Pro: Specifications
The Moto X30 Pro features a 6.7-inch FHD+ IPS panel with 144Hz capability. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, which is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

In terms of cameras, the Moto X30 Pro features a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP1 camera with a 1/1.22-inch sensor size. Other than Motorola, no other smartphone manufacturer has attempted a 200-megapixel sensor. The Moto X30 Pro has ChameleonCell, an unique pixel-binning technology.
The Moto X30 Pro has been priced at CNY 3699, which roughly converts to Rs. 43,999 for the base 8GB+128GB option. CNY 4,199 (Rs. 49,000) for the 12GB+256GB variant and CNY 4,499 (Rs. 53,201) for the 12GB+512GB variant. Motorola has only released the gadget in China so far. It has not stated whether it intends to introduce the device in additional markets, including India.
At the event, Motorola also announced the Razr 2022. The Moto Razr 2022 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It boasts a 6.7-inch foldable P-OLED FHD+ 120Hz display. It has 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage and up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. A 3-inch cover display will also be included with the phone.
