The Motorola Edge X has been making rounds of the internet for quite some time now. Recently, it was also unveiled that the smartphone would go official as the Moto Edge 30 Ultra in certain markets. Besides, the brand officially teased the device a couple of days ago as well. However, we never really got a good look at the device apart from the brand-teased “X”. That is most certainly changing now.
Noted tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer, popular known as @OnLeaks, collaborated with 91Mobiles to bring us exclusive high-res renders of the device. We are talking 5K 360 degree design renders here and indeed, we get a crystal clear idea of what the device may look like ahead of launch. Besides, a couple of key details were also recently leaked on the hardware front of the device. Without any further ado, let us take a quick look at the Moto Edge X specs and design renders.

Motorola Edge X Design Renders
Going by the renders, the Motorola Edge X will come with a centrally-aligned punch-hole design on the display. This shall be housing the selfie shooter of the device. Moreover, we can see slim bezels on all sides alongside flattened out edges. So, no curvature there. Left side is home to the power button. Meanwhile, on the right, we get to see the volume rockers alongside what seems to be a dedicated Google Assistant button.
At the bottom, the smartphone comes with a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. We also get to see the speaker grille and main microphone of the device at the bottom. Talking about the back panel, it turns slightly inwards at the edges which brings a certain degree of curvature.

Moving on to optics, the Motorola Edge X is seen sporting a rectangular camera module in the renders. The module is home to a triple rear camera setup alongside LED flash. We also get to see a microphone with noise cancellation capabilities. From the looks of it, the device will flaunt an in-display fingerprint sensor. The renders also reveal a Blue and Grey colour option. However, the device is expected to come in other options as well upon launch.
Motorola Edge X Specifications (Leaked)
According to OnLeaks, the device will come with a 6.6-inch flat display. As mentioned before going by the renders, we will be seeing a punch-hole display design. As per recent leaks and reports, the display will be an OLED one. In addition, it was also revealed that the smartphone’s display will feature a fast 144Hz refersh rate alongside HDR10+ support.
On the processor front, the Motorola Edge X will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC. This octa-core chipset will pair up with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. In terms of software, it is said to run on Android 11 OS with the brand’s custom skin on top.
For photos and videos, the Motorola Edge X specs will include a triple rear camera setup. The setup will include a 50-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 50-megapixel secondary sensor. We will also most likely get to see a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor in the setup. At the front, the device will sport a 60-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.

On the battery front, the Motorola Edge X is expected to pack a big 5000mAh battery. This battery capacity will reportedly pair up with 68W fast charging support. The Moto Edge X will most likely measure 163.1 x 76.5 x 8.8mm.
