The Motorola Edge series of smartphones have quite a few smartphones under it already. These include the Motorola Edge 20, Motorola Edge 20 Pro, Motorola Edge 20 Lite and Motorola Edge 20 Fusion. Now, the company has launched their Motorola Edge 2021 smartphone in the US. Talking about the design of the smartphone, it is very similar to the Edge 20 Fusion launched in India. However, there are certain differences in terms of the chipset used. The Edge 2021 ships with the Snapdragon 778G SoC, a faster refresh rate and a couple of other flagship grade features.
Motorola Edge 2021 Price and Availability
The Motorola Edge 2021 price in the US is set at $700 for the single 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant. This converts to roughly Rs. 52,000 in the Indian market. However, there is an introductory offer on the device which brings the price down to $500 which is roughly Rs. 37,000.

When it comes to the availability of the device, it is available on in the North American region for now. Nothing has been revealed about the India launch and availability of the device for now. However, it may launch in Canada later on this year.
Motorola Edge 2021 Specifications
The Motorola Edge 2021 comes with a big 6.7-inch LCD display. Additionally, the display comes with a fast 144Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels. The device also comes with a touch sampling rate of 576Hz.

On the processor front, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. The 6nm octa-core chipset is also 5G ready and pairs up with the Adreno 642L GPU. Further, the device also pairs up with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
When it comes to optics, the Motorola Edge 2021 features a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. There is also a 2-megapixel depth sensor in the setup. At the front, the smartphone sports a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.

The device packs a big 5000mAh battery to easily last a day. The battery pairs up with 30W fast charging support as well. Moreover, the smartphone comes with a modern side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well. The device packs all the essential connectivity options like dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC and more. Lastly, the device comes with dimensions of 169 x 75.6 x 8.99 mm and weighs 200 grams.
