Motorola has finally launched their Motorola Edge 20 and Motorola Edge 20 Fusion smartphones in India. The Moto Edge 20 Fusion has been launched as a rebranded Motorola Edge 20 Lite. The Edge 20 Lite debuted globally back in July, 2021. However, the Edge 20 Fusion ships with a more powerful Dimensity 800U chipset.
On the other hand, the vanilla Edge 20 is powered by a Snapdragon 778 SoC. Moreover, it is a more premium offering in the series featuring a staggering 144Hz refresh rate on an OLED display. It also comes with 33W fast charging support and runs Android 11 OS right out-of-the-box.

Motorola Edge 20 Specifications
The Motorola Edge 20 features a big 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display. In addition, the display sports a punch-hole design along with a whopping 144Hz refresh rate. We can also see a 10-bit colour, DCI-P3 colour coverage alongside HDR10+ certification on the display.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 SoC. The octa-core chipset is paired with the Adreno 642L GPU. The chipset and GPU pair up with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 11 OS along with the company’s custom skin on top. Additionally, the third camera is an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor with up to 3x optical zoom and 30X digital zoom. At the front, the device features a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. The smartphone also packs all the essential connectivity features like 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, MIMO, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and a USB Type-C port for charging. The Motorola Edge 20 comes with dimensions of 163.5×76.2×7.1mm and weighs 165 grams.

The device comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and similar other display specifications to the vanilla Edge 20. On the processor front, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC. The octa-core chipset pairs up with the Mali-G57 MC3 GPU. The chipset and GPU is coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. When it comes to software, the smartphone runs on Android 11 OS right out-of-the-box. Moving to the battery, the device packs a big 5000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.

The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion price in India is set at Rs. 21,499 for the 6GB/128GB variant. Meanwhile, the 8GB/128GB variant comes with a price tag of Rs. 22,999. When it comes to the availability of the device, the smartphone will go on sale from August 24 at 12 PM via Flipkart and retail stores.
