If rumors are true, the 2010 Motorola Defy series can make a comeback in the market soon. It launched as the world’s first Android smartphone that was dustproof and water-resistant. However, we have not seen it since then. Although looks like the series is preparing for a relaunch in the market considering how it surfaced on Google Play Console and Geekbench.

However, this is the only piece of information we have on the same. As per reports, Motorola Athena could launch as the Motorola Defy series. Considering its previous launch, it can still launch with the same features it was famous for.
Motorola Defy Series Leaks
According to tipster Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24), it could soon launch the Defy series. Moreover, the brand could launch more than one smartphone in the Defy series outside India. However, it hasn’t mentioned which regions will get them. Recently, the series surfaced on Google Play Console and Geekbench.

According to Geekbench, the Motorola Defy series can come with android 10, an octa-core chipset, and 4GB of RAM. It carried the codename ‘bathena’ on the listing. The upcoming handset had an impressive single-core test score of 1,527 points and a multi-core test score of 5,727 points. On the other hand, the Google Play Console listing shows that the upcoming smartphone – could be powered by a Snapdragon 662 SoC paired with Adreno 610 GPU. It can also come along with 4GB RAM. It is also likely to sport an HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1,600 pixels and run Android 10 OS. An attached image on the Google Play Console listing hints that the smartphone could feature a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera and a slight chin at the bottom.
