Motorola X40 To Launch This December: Everything You Must Know

Moto will launch its new model, X40 on December 15. Lenovo, a Chinese multinational company subsidiary, posted an update on the Chinese microblogging website, Weibo. Through the post, it released a poster teasing the launch of the flagship Moto X40 handset. A senior company official had already teased the flagship phone on Weibo, giving a hint of the arrival of a successor to the Moto X30.

The new Motorola X40 is expected to have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2, which debuted last month. The new model was recently found on TENAA, which showed some noticeable specifications and design.

Moto X40 design

The TENNA projected the image of the Moto X40 with a center-positioned punch-hole cutout and curved edges. The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge.

On the back side, we can find the phone’s best part, the triple camera with 50 megapixels primary and secondary camera and a 12 megapixels tertiary camera. It also has an LED flashlight, all under a square frame. There is the iconic Moto dimple in the center. In the front, the phone has 32 megapixels front camera.

Expected specifications

Moto X40 is expected to come with a curved screen of 6.67-inch in Full HD+ display . The panel is expected to be OLED and have a minimum 120Hz refresh rate. The chipset will be paired with 8GB/12GB/18GB RAM and 128G/256GB/512GB inexpandable storage. This phone comes with Android 13.

The new Moto X40 will have a long lasting battery of 4,450mAh and a with 68W fast charging support. It has a Bluetooth and WiFi 6, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The Moto X 40 supports both 5G and 4G LTE.

The expected price of Moto X40 is 59,999. It will be released in a single variant only ie. 8GB RAM/128GB.
