  • Motorola is all set to launch their Moto Edge X30 in China on December 9, 2021. With the launch date just being a couple of days away, the smartphone’s camera and battery details have now been officially revealed. These are China-released teaser posters for the device.

    The smartphone will come with a big battery and pretty fast charging support as well. Moreover, as per previous reports, we also know that this is the first ever smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. This chipset is also referred to as the Snapdragon 898 SoC.

    As per what Motorola has unveiled, the smartphone will pack a big 5000mAh battery. In addition, this rated battery capacity will also be coupled with a 68W fast charging support. Besides, the camera specs of the upcoming ultra-flagship device have been revealed as well.

    The Moto Edge X30 will come with a triple rear camera setup. The setup will include two 50-megapixel sensors alongside a 2-megapixel sensor for most likely depth shots. At the front, the device will offer a whopping next-gen 60-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.

    Previously, the brand also released a short teaser for the upcoming ultra flagship device. This teaser revealed the key display specs of the smartphone. Although the exact display size was not revealed, the device has been officially confirmed to feature a 144Hz fast refresh rate panel. Additionally, the display of the device has also been confirmed to come with HDR10+ and 1 billion colours support.

    In terms of the chipset, we already know that the upcoming device will be the very first smartphone in the world to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. This octa-core chipset will pair up with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Latest leaks also suggest that the device could be the first smartphone to run on Android 12 as well.
