Xiaomi is gearing up for its biggest launch event in India on April 23rd. We can expect the company to unveil Mi 11X and its’ Pro, and a massive 75-inch QLED TV. However, now Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain gives us the first live images of the Mi 11X. In addition to all of these, we are hearing rumors that Mi11 X can be a rebranded Redmi K40. The latter launched in China back in February.

If the rumors are true, then the specs of the Mi 11X can be the same as that of the Redmi K40. To recall, it flaunts a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch response, and a 3.5mm slim bottom bezel. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM. Moreover, it comes with up to 256GB storage that can be further expandable via a microSD card.

As for the cameras, the Redmi K40 has a triple rear camera setup, with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 5MP macro lens. There is a 20MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. If the Mi 11X is a rebranded Redmi K40, you can expect the phone to launch in India under Rs 30,000.
