Xiaomi’s Mi 11 Ultra comes with an interesting feature for its secondary display on the back. The smartphone’s secondary display on the back uses the screen of the Mi Smart Band 5. This rear display shows notifications, time, and date. Moreover, you can also use it as a viewfinder to capture selfies using the rear cameras. In addition, we are expecting to launch in the Indian market on April 23. However, to recall, it unveiled in China last month.

Mi 11 Ultra’s rear display is the same one used on Mi Band 5
In an interview, Jun (CEO Xiaomi) reveals that on the secondary display of the Mi 11Ultra during a live broadcast in China. It mentions that the display of the Mi Band 5 is repurpose to fit the assembly of the new flagship smartphone. However, it sits adjacent to the back cameras. To recall, Mi Band Smart 5 has a 1.1-inch AMOLED screen with 450 nits of peak brightness.

Repurposing of the display helps in cutting down production and research costs for the Mi 11 Ultra.

To recall, Mi 11 Ultra comes with the latest Snapdragon 888 SoC, which is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage. It gets a 6.81-inch sAMOLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and QHD+ resolution. A 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging technology is housed inside the phone. The rear camera module consists of a triple camera setup, alongside the 1.1-inch AMOLED display from Mi Band 5.
