Mi 11 Pro Could Feature A Dual-cell 5,000mAh Battery

Xiaomi recently launched the Mi 11 smartphone. However, now speculations and leaks are rife with information about the Mi 11 Pro. A piece of new information emerges about its battery specifications via prolific Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station.

According to a Chinese tipster’s post on Weibo, the Mi 11 Pro will feature a larger than expected battery. Earlier reports suggest the company can introduce the Pro with a 4,700mAh battery. However, new reports claim that it would be a 5,000mAh battery. The Digital Chat Station says the battery will come in a dual-cell configuration to allow for more efficient fast charging. It can support up to 80W wireless charging and 120W wired fast charging.

However, unconfirmed reports or leaks suggest it can go as high as 200W, but that is more likely to debut alongside the Mi MIX 4. Apart from Mi 11 Pro, Digital Chat Station suggests that upcoming gaming smartphones such as the ASUS ROG Phone 4, Black Shark 4, and Nubia Red Magic 6 will come with a similar cell configuration. It does not only does the technology help users charge their batteries faster. However, it also ensures that the batteries don’t overheat, given the wattage involved.

Mi 11 Pro Specifications

Expected specifications include a 6.8-inch 2K AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will come with four rear cameras arranged in a square-shaped pattern. Moreover, one of which will offer up to 120X zoom.

Given that it is a Mi 11 Pro, its cameras will undoubtedly pack an extra punch. We already know for sure that it will run a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset along with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

We hope to learn soon enough as there’s still no official date set for the Mi 11 Pro announcement.
