Meet Tecno’s First 5G Phone; Tecno Pova 5G Launched

Tecno has launched its first 5G phone under its Pova smartphone series. Tecno Pova 5G has been reportedly launched in Nigeria as the first 5G smartphone from the brand. Tecno Pova 5G: Specifications

The smartphone has an internal storage capacity of 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Buyers will also get 3GB virtual RAM support with the phone. It runs on the Android 11 operating system with the company’s proprietary HiOS on top. Right off the bat, the Tecno POVA 5G features a massive 6.95-inch IPS LCD panel with a punch-hole design. It offers 1080 x 2460 pixels, Full HD+ resolution, 480ppi pixel density, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Dimensity 900 chipset is present under the hood of the POVA 5G. The device comes with 3 GB of virtual RAM. For security, the device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The device is backed by a 6000mAh battery. It offers 18watt fast charging support. Tecno Pova 5G boasts of a 12-megapixel selfie camera with dual flash. On the rear, the smartphone has a dual-camera setup. It consists of a 50 -megapixel main sensor paired with a 2-megapixel camera and an AI lens. Moreover, the handset measures 172.82 x 78.24 x 9.07mm. It comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Price And Availability

Tecno Pova 5G carries a price tag of $289 (approximately Rs. 22,000). The handset packs 8GB RAM and has an internal storage capacity of 128GB. There are no details about the phone’s availability. Aether Black is the colour variant of the phone.
