However, customers had to register before getting their hands on the device via JioMart. Now, customers can finally wave a happy goodbye to registration hassles, thanks to Reliance Digital.
Yes, the JioPhone Next goes on its very first sale via Reliance Digital today, on November 26, 2021. The best thing, as mentioned before, is that customers do not have to register and can directly purchase the budget handset.

JioPhone Next Price in India and Availability
The JioPhone Next price in India has been set at Rs. 6,499. Customers can also purchase the affordable smartphone by making a down payment of Rs. 1,999. The rest of the amount can then be easily paid off as EMI in the next 18-24 months. Additional benefits of these EMIs are data offers and more.

Now, the device is available via Reliance Digital and on top of the down payment, we also get to see an additional 10 percent discount on purchase via Yes Bank credit cards. There is a 7.5% discount on American Express credit cards and 5% off on ICICI Bank debit and credit cards. The device is available in both Blue and Black colour options on Reliance Digital.
JioPhone Next Specifications
The affordable smartphone by Jio offers a 5.4-inch HD+ LCD display. In addition, the display comes with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. We also get to see Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top alongside an anti-fingerprint coating. In terms of software, the budget device runs on Android 11 Go Edition with Pragati OS custom skin on top.
On the processor front, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 SoC. This chipset is coupled with the Adreno 308 GPU. The processor and GPU pair up with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Further, there is also a microSD card slot for expansion.
For photos and videos, the JioPhone Next features a single 13-megapixel primary sensor with LED flash. At the front, the budget handset sports an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. The smartphone packs a 3,500mAh battery. We get a micro-USB port for charging and data transfer.
